The sanitary conditions and healthcare services of a place reflect how developed the place is, and also have a major effect on the quality of people's lives.
Li Daoquan, director of the health bureau of Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently interviewed about how to optimize the county's healthcare layout, complete the grassroots medical service system, and provide a sound hospital environment for the public.
According to Li, the county has been deepening reforms on the medical system and has established a work scheme that features shared responsibilities and interests. In 2021, the bureau improved and set up four fever clinics in medical centers of four towns.
Burdened with the responsibility to safeguard people's health and lives, the bureau will continue to enhance the healthcare service system, improve the quality of medical workers, and provide more facilities to build a convenient, safe, effective and high-quality medical environment.
