Improved transport facilitates rural vitalization

Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has seen its transportation improve significantly in recent years.

"We have established the Xifeng section of the S30 Jiangkou-Duge Expressway and Xifeng section of the Chongqing-Guizhou High-Speed Railway, as well as renovated 10 dilapidated bridges," said Zheng Xingkui, deputy head of the county's transportation bureau.

In addition, 51 rural roads for industrial development have been established, making it more convenient for visitors to reach the fruit and vegetable growing bases and for business people to transport local agricultural products to places outside Xifeng.
