Online teaching benefits pupils during pandemic outbreak

About 34,000 students from 47 middle and primary schools of Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, have received online courses since Sept 7 due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic outbreak that raged in the province.

Local schools were urged to formulate scientific curriculums and strengthen communication among teachers, students and parents to ensure that children could adjust to the online teaching as soon as possible.

In addition, relevant pandemic prevention and control tips have been given to students through power points and short videos. Parents have been encouraged to pay special attention to children's psychological needs during this special period.
