Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, registered 3.17 billion yuan ($46.47 million) in tourism revenue in the first half of 2022. It received 196,700 visits from overnight tourists, a year-on-year increase of 9.28 percent.

The county is also making strides in tourism industrialization by improving tourism resource quality and cultivating new types of businesses.

The main structure of the Nanshan Tianmu Hot Spring project has now finished, and 80 percent of construction work for the first phase of the Guizhou folk culture experience site has also been completed.

Work plans for market entity cultivation have also been put in place to help them attract capital and funds. Among them, the Xifeng Hot Spring Sanatorium project has obtained 1 million yuan in subsidies. In addition, a 234,000-yuan fund was granted to the county's homestays, agritainment venues, and rural hotels.

Maodong village, Hongyan village and Baozi village have been rated as key municipal-level villages for rural tourism.

From January to June this year, Xifeng added 138 new tourism market players.
