Village construction exchange meeting held in Maodong village

An exchange meeting on the construction and development of red beautiful villages was held on July 1 in Maodong village in Yongyang district, Xifeng county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Nearly 60 experts were invited to attend the meeting and share their experience on the red beautiful village construction work, including Liu Zhaofeng, chief designer at the Guizhou Architectural Design and Research Institute, and Tang Honggang, president of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Guizhou University. 

Maodong village was rich in red history and culture. Since last year, the Xifeng government has been focusing on the village's red beautiful village trial zone construction, having invested more than 20 million yuan ($2.99 million) in the zone's 12 programs.
