Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently rolled out measures to bolster local consumption and relevant businesses. The measures have proven to be effective.
The county worked harder to make sure that all operators in the retail and wholesale sectors are informed about current policy support. So far, a total of 5,711 such operators have joined Guizhou's shopping coupon activity.
The county is now planning on seven business projects that involve 1.71 billion yuan ($255.13 million) in investment. Among them, four are county-level business system construction projects, two are cold-chain logistics projects, and one is a farm produce market improvement project.
Xifeng has also strengthened communications with relevant municipal and provincial departments for the benefit of enterprises. To date, 44 business operators have enjoyed a value-added tax credit refund of 2.88 million yuan.
