Xifeng county receives two municipal awards

At a municipal work meeting on the second semester of the 2021-22 school year for Guiyang's educational system held by the Guiyang municipal bureau of education, Xifeng county's education bureau was given two municipal awards.

Xifeng – which is administered by Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – won  first place in a municipal education quality assessment, while Xifeng No 1 High School was awarded first place in a students' academic performance assessment.

Over the past year, the county's education bureau is said to have closely adhered to a people-centered principle. It has pushed forward with various categories of education, including pre-school education, compulsory education, high-school education and vocational education.

The bureau is also said to have established and expanded three local schools, which are able to offer 450 more pre-school study positions and 1,800 primary and secondary school study positions.

Moving forwards, plans are for the bureau to continue focusing on its quality of education by making innovations in teaching and research methods.
