Xifeng county arranged eighty enterprises and government-affiliated institutions to seek suitable college graduates in a talent recruitment fair held by Guiyang and Guian New Area on Dec 16 at Guizhou University in Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Enterprise representatives launched face-to-face communications with graduates, offering 410 positions in total, with the maximum monthly salary hitting 12,000 yuan ($1,884). A majority of such posts included welfare programs in annual leaves, professional training, and grants of many kinds.
"This time we have provided graduates with many top posts and we received more than 100 job applications within two hours," said Li Cuilian, director of the county's talent exchange and service center.
Xifeng county is pledging to further expand its talent-related policies and measures, to attract more outstanding graduates to work or start up businesses there.
