Residents enjoy improved traffic in Xifeng

Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou county, has spelled out three specific actions for improving transportation conditions in the county.

The number of taxis available to residents has surged from 79 to 331, up 318.99 percent, which has significantly shortened the amount of time people spend getting from place to place.

Bus routes have also been optimized in Xifeng, as six routes that pass through 202 stations have been launched, with buses arriving every 12 to 50 minutes.

In addition, three customized bus routes have opened to the public (Xifeng–Shidong town, Xifeng–Xishan town, and Xifeng–Qingshan town). These routes are mainly meant to send primary and middle school students to school. Meanwhile, coach and bus routes have also been adjusted to serve as many students as possible.
