Xifeng county in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently rolled out three methods to better serve foreign-invested enterprises based in the county.
Government officials were assigned to visit foreign-invested firms and learn about problems they face in project construction and business operation. The companies will be offered precise analyses and solutions to their problems. To date, the government has visited firms 10 times, solving two problems related to tap water facility installation and transportation, offering consulting services to firms six times, and achieving $22.5 million in foreign investment.
In addition, the government has worked harder to accelerate the settlement and construction of the investment projects signed in Xifeng. An animal feed manufacturing center of Guizhou Anyou Biotech Co that will boast an annual output of 180,000 metric tons of animal feed so far has progressed smoothly and is expected to begin operating in March 2022.
Officials have also visited two foreign-invested companies and shared information about preferential policies issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, and the Guizhou Provincial Government to help companies weather the coronavirus epidemic.
