Xifeng pursues high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas

Xifeng is working to advance comprehensive rural revitalization through the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas.

According to a document recently released by the government, by 2025, the county's grain-sowing area will be stabilized at 180,000 mu (12,000 hectares). This area will produce more than 60,000 metric tons of crops annually.

The processing and conversion rate of agricultural products will be increased to more than 75 percent, and the per capita disposable income of rural permanent residents will be increased by 10.5 percent.

By fulfilling these goals, villagers will have a more sustainable sense of gain, well-being and security.

Xifeng will strictly implement the food supply accountability mechanism, strengthen its characteristic industry and upgrade its industrial structure.

In addition, a modern service network that boasts better circulation and broadens sales channels for agricultural products will be established.
