Xifeng to spend 9b yuan on business investment promotion

Xifeng county's investment promotion bureau recently issued a document requiring the county to budget 9 billion yuan ($1.35 billion) for business investment promotion in 2021, according to local media reports on April 29.

The document also urged the local government to formulate a work plan to guide business attraction. The county is expected to strengthen its real economy and speed up the processes of industrial and agricultural modernization, urbanization and tourism development by ushering in more projects and enhancing professional training programs.

Of the 9 billion yuan investment promotion budget, 53 percent should be spent on industrial programs. The number of newly-added industrial programs has reached 80.

Statistics show that 3.31 billion yuan had already been put in place by April, accounting for 36.8 percent of the annual goal.
