The human resources and social security bureau of Xifeng county, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has adopted a series of measures to create employment opportunities and help migrant workers in its jurisdiction to find jobs, according to local officials. In 2020, Xifeng county added 7,925 urban employees - 103 percent of the annual target.
In 2020, Xifeng human resources and social security bureau fully explored the county's industrial enterprises, agricultural enterprises, construction industry enterprises, service industry enterprises, and key projects, gathering job information suitable for poor and relocated people. It also provided multiple job information sessions, various employment and entrepreneurship training subsidies, free job introductions and other preferential support policies.
The county has also provided support policies for enterprises that employ poor people and people with employment difficulties, as well as enterprises with low layoff rates, including one-off incentives, social insurance subsidies, and return subsidies for post stabilization.
In 2020, Xifeng county cashed a total of 2.36 million yuan ($0.36 million) in post stabilization subsidies and stabilized 4,495 posts; issued a total of 67.4 million yuan in entrepreneurial guarantee loans, which promoted 1,089 jobs; issued one-off job search and entrepreneurship subsidies of 226,000 yuan for 298 people; and issued employment assistance subsidies of 932,800 yuan for 1,551 people.
In addition, the county has continued to develop public welfare jobs and has helped 919 people with employment difficulties to find jobs.
