A foundation laying ceremony for Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's major projects was launched at Xifeng County Industrial Park on Dec 5.

It marked formal implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) of Phosphate Chemical Group and the group's another solid step towards the global phosphorus chemical pioneer's vision goal.

In recent years, Xifeng county has been practicing the major decisions and arrangements of the provincial Party committee and government on accelerating the development of modern chemical industry. It has fully promoted the transformation and upgrading of phosphorous chemicals to realize green development and has regarded project construction as the internal driving force and important support of the county's high-quality economic development.

The series of projects under concentrated construction will contribute to Xifeng country's further industrial structure optimization, industrial upgrading, economic size increase and high-quality economic development.

The projects concerning anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and industrial food grade purified phosphoric acid contain core technologies of the group in phosphate rock selecting, phosphorous fine chemical engineering and associated resource utilization. They have been fully tested with economic, environmental protection, and social benefits in other bases in and out of Guizhou province. After completion, they will further extend phosphorous chemical industry chain, optimize Xifeng County Industrial Park's industrial structure, and enhance profitability and ability to cope with market volatility.

The gross investment of the projects was about 1.5 billion yuan ($229.2 million) and the annual output value will exceed 4 billion yuan with a predicted annual return around 800 million yuan

The above projects were relied on resource superiority, and phosphoric acid purification technology was used to realize step utilization. Next, the group plans to arrange downstream projects with the principle of energy saving and case by case to activate more idle devices, improve the condition of single industrial structure in phosphorus related plates, and help the group continue to consolidate the world's largest PPA production and suppliers of the market position.
