Xifeng strengthens market supervision of tourist attractions

Recently, the market supervision and administration bureau of Xifeng county, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has conducted special inspections at scenic spots, surrounding restaurants and non-staple food stores in the area under its jurisdiction, to strengthen market supervision and create a well-regulated tourism market with honest operations and fair competition.

The bureau inspected all relevant aspects of the scenic areas and surrounding catering companies, including licenses, raw material procurement, food processing, tableware cleaning and disinfection, and the health certificates of employees. The bureau dispatched a total of 10 law enforcement vehicles and 20 law enforcement officers, and inspected 90 business households.

Meanwhile, the bureau has conducted inspections of the publicity of entrance ticket prices and parking fees, and will strictly investigate and deal with price violations, such as price fraud, price bidding, unclear price marking, and mandatory services.

The bureau has requested that the scenic areas and surrounding food business households post complaints and reports figures in conspicuous locations on the business premises, and that they handle complaints and reports quickly and proactively.
