Xifeng holds entrepreneurship innovation competition

On July 14, Xifeng county -- located in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- held the Xifeng regional qualifying round of the 4th national entrepreneurship and innovation competition, according to local officials.

At the competition venue, contestants showcased their entrepreneurial projects by presenting their project plans, project roadshows, focusing on product features, market prospects, business models and development plans.

The competition was hosted by the human resources and social security bureau of Xifeng county, with two main competitions for innovation and entrepreneurship and a special competition for entrepreneurship in poverty alleviation.

Officials said that since its launch in July, the competition has received extensive attention from all corners of society and seen the active participation of various entrepreneurial groups.

A total of 10 outstanding entrepreneurial innovation projects entered the next stage of the national competition.

The competition's provincial rounds will end before Sept 15, while the national competition will begin in late September to mid-October, according to the organizers.
