Sea of roses in Xifeng attracts many tourists

Located in Xishan town, Xifeng county -- in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- Wenanhuahai scenic area attracted many tourists to come and visit and enjoy the sight of wonderful Chinese roses on May 12.

According to the local government, to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, Xifeng reopened various scenic spots while guide tourists to avoid the rush hours.

The scenic area is about six kilometers away from Xifeng county. Local officials said it is one of the most important rural projects in Xishan town.

There are more than 30 Chinese rose varieties in the rose garden, with a planting area of nearly 13.3 hectares. Enthusiasts say their wonderful shape, distinct layers and unique characteristics make the garden a beautiful landscape.

The sea of roses attracted many tourists and promotes the booming business of nearby snack bars, entertainment and country inns, according to local officials. Additionally, the rose garden also attracted villagers from surrounding areas to work there to increase their incomes, they added.
