Xifeng county has undertaken a series of measures to improve the convenience of its traffic, including moves to add 1,400 parking spaces by the end of this year, according to the city's transportation department.
The county-level city in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has so for added 1,080 public parking spaces and another 320 are expected to be built by the end of November.
The city now has a total of 131 methanol-fueled taxis, with 52 newly added ones.
Meanwhile, Xifeng has finished with tenders to taxi management franchises for 360 new taxi cabs this year.
Furthermore, Tongcuncun, a travelling service platform in Xifeng, has published timetables and information on 136 buses, 146 bus drivers, and 34 bus lines.
The new timetables include departure times, ticket prices, and bus stations. They have been entered on the platform for the convenience of local people.
The city is relying on the platform for deliveries of small items.
For example, a village-level logistics services station was built in Dahong village, Shidong town, with professional workers providing services in the station.
