Xifeng County Secondary Vocational School

Xifeng County Secondary Vocational School is a full-time public secondary vocational school. Founded in 1984, the school has trained tens of thousands of talents for society. In 2016, the school moved to the new campus located at No. 110 Fuxing Road, Xiaozhaiba Town, Xifeng County. The school will combine inheritance, innovation and development, implement people-oriented strategy, strengthen school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of production and education and adhere to the principle of "market-oriented, competency-based", striving to build the school into a brand vocational school under the leadership of the county's Party committee and the county government. 

Majors 

The school now has 7 self-run majors, including electronic technology application, tourism service and management, high-star hotel operation and management, automobile operation and maintenance, computer application, e-commerce, urban rail transit operation and management. At the same time, it also cooperates with Guiyang Vocational and Technical College, Guiyang Nursing Vocational College and other institutions in nursing and preschool education. 

Conditions of the school 

The school covers an area of 73,923 square meters (110.89 mu), with a per capita area of 42.07 square meters. The school building area is 523,45 square meters, and the per capita school building area is 29.79 square meters. The total value of fixed assets is 198.18 million yuan($28.26), of which the value of teaching and training equipment is 17.6 million yuan, and the per capita value is 11,282 yuan. Each major is equipped with a training room, providing a total of 1,136 workstations, and the per capita figure is 0.64, which meets the training and internship needs of students. There are also 8 off-campus training bases. The school has 642 computers for teaching, and the number of computers per 100 students is 36.54. There are also 9 function classrooms such as book reading room, campus book bar, tea room, music room, physical training room, piano room and photography room. 

The school has built 400-meter plastic ring-shaped runways, a standard football field covering an area of 19,000 square meters, and plastic basketball and volleyball courts covering 2,760 square meters. 

Informatization efforts have achieved results. The school has built a 100-1000M backbone network and part of the software support system covering all the offices, function rooms, general classrooms, recording and broadcasting systems, cloud computer rooms and training rooms. It has launched the official website, the micro official website, and the WeChat account. It has also built a multimedia teaching terminal and information release system covering all classrooms, established a 100-seat call center for commercial operation and practical teaching, and constructed a video surveillance system and a broadcasting system covering the entire campus. 

In 2018, the school successfully applied for the Provincial Model Digital School project of the Guizhou Plan on Improving the Quality of Vocational Schools.
