Xifeng county in Guiyang, capital city of southwestern Guizhou province, opened its first bricks and mortar store for cross-border e-commerce on Sept 6, according to local media reports.
The shop is a conventional high street store for a local e-commerce company, the reports said.
It mainly sells Guizhou-featured agricultural and sideline products, imported goods, independent branded goods and various high-quality products, which its owners say basically meet all the daily needs of customers.
On the day the store opened, the app of the company was officially launched on various platforms, and its WeChat platform was also launched.
Its owners say that within three kilometers of Xifeng county, free distribution is available so local residents can conveniently buy goods from all over the world while remaining at home.
