Guizhou Long March museum among top 10 demonstration cases

The Guizhou Long March Cultural Digital Art Museum in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently selected as one of the top 10 cases for the 2024 demonstration of digital innovation in culture and tourism, as announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The 2024 Demonstration of Digital Innovation in Culture and Tourism collection was launched in July this year, with 183 participating cases showcasing innovative applications of technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality in culture and tourism.

The Guizhou Long March Cultural Digital Art Museum is the first fully immersive digital experience museum themed on the Long March, integrating culture, technology, and art.

It incorporates the latest technologies, such as AI virtual interaction, holographic projection, multi-dimensional mechanical movement, virtual reality, and 3D sound fields.

Since its trial operation on Oct 22, 2023, the Guizhou Long March Cultural Digital Art Museum has hosted over 8,300 performances and welcomed 1 million visitors from inside and outside the province.
