The 2024 China Special Tourism Competition held in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, on Oct 13, included 33 tourism products from Guiyang, which won three gold awards, three silver awards and one bronze award.
The award-winning products focused on food, handicrafts, and daily necessities, showcasing the diversity and innovation of Guiyang's tourism products.
The camellia seed enzyme set from Nanming district, the lacquer tea set from Huaxi district, and the nasal relief product from Wudang district won gold awards; the cloisonne painting from Huaxi district and the fragrance tablets from Nanming district received silver awards; and the chestnut rose konjac jelly from Baiyun district received a bronze award.
In recent years, Guiyang has been encouraging companies to participate in the Colorful Guizhou Tourism Product Competition held by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, promoting quality improvement of tourism products.
It has also encouraged local market entities to explore local characteristics, shaped brand images, continuously improved tourism products, and pushed tourism products to become more specialized, market-oriented, brand-focused, and industrialized.
