Vietnam travel agencies strengthen tourism ties with Guiyang

A Guizhou tourism promotion conference and an exchange event for Vietnamese travel agents were held on Sept 6 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

In recent years, Guiyang and Vietnam have achieved significant results in tourism cooperation. Building on their unique geographical advantages and cultural resources, both sides have leapfrogged their development, exploring and expanding cooperation.

Do Xuan Ngoan, a travel agent from Vietnam, has confidence in the direct flight route between Hanoi and Guiyang. He hopes it can become a bridge connecting the people of the two countries, allowing more Vietnamese to understand, appreciate, and personally experience the charm of Guizhou.

Since last year, Guiyang has received more Vietnamese tourists, benefiting from the marketing of Guiyang tourism products in the Vietnamese market. Vietnamese visitors are interested in Guiyang's tourism resources, ethnic culture, and unique cuisine.

At the promotional event, the Guiyang culture and tourism bureau introduced Guiyang's food, music, parks, natural scenery, and educational resources.

In the future, Vietnamese travel agents will conduct on-site visits to experience the natural beauty and local customs of Guiyang and develop tourism products that meet the demands of the Vietnamese market.
