The fourth China-ASEAN Youth Painting Exhibition was held on Aug 22 at the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Permanent Host Site in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The exhibition, themed "Better Youth, Better Future", is part of the 2024 China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week and aims to enhance mutual understanding, awareness, and friendship among Chinese and ASEAN youth.

From 2021 to 2023, three editions of the China-ASEAN Youth Painting Exhibition have been held, attracting over 70,000 youths from China, ASEAN countries, Australia, Spain, Bangladesh, and others to participate.

The participants used their paintbrushes to depict the rapid growth in China, ASEAN, and other countries, envisioning a bright future for China and ASEAN.

This year's exhibition collected 6,605 paintings created by youth from China, ASEAN countries, and other countries and regions. Following the principles of fairness, impartiality, and transparency, 524 award-winning works were selected through expert evaluation. They will be included in the publication of the 2024 China-ASEAN Youth Painting Exhibition Collection.

Some award-winning works will be exhibited at the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Permanent Host Site and the Geological Museum of Guizhou.
