In early August, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held an ASEAN international tourism product promotion event in Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
Guiyang boasts stunning natural scenery and a comfortable living environment, leading to an increasing number of domestic and international tourists to the city.
Nanning is at an important part of the "Belt and Road" and located at the intersection of the China-ASEAN Economic Circle, about 200 kilometers from the China-Vietnam border.
During the event, Guiyang's travel agencies introduced "Cool Guiyang" international connecting flight routes, which include destinations such as Nanning and Libo.
Representatives from Vietnamese tourism enterprises and Guiyang tourism enterprises jointly signed the "Guiyang international joint inbound cooperation agreement", laying a solid foundation for future cross-border tourism cooperation and marking a substantive step forward in cooperation between Guiyang and Southeast Asian countries in the tourism sector.
The promotional event not only brings new development opportunities to the tourism industry in Guiyang, but also provides more diverse travel choices for tourists from Nanning, Vietnam, and other countries.
