Since the beginning of summer, visitors from across the country have come to Gui'an New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province to enjoy the coolness and beautiful scenery, with an average temperature of 23 C in this season.
As a national 4A-level scenic spot, the Yunman Lake International Ecotourism Resort features 500 mu (33.33 hectares) of lake, 1,100 mu of evergreen natural lawns in all seasons, and more than 50 types of recreational facilities to create a hotspot for family fun, outdoor sports and leisure, and music.
From July 1 to Aug 31, the resort is offering free admission from 5 pm every day, attracting tourists from inside and outside Guizhou.
In recent years, Gui'an has been popular among summer vacationers due to its climate and environmental advantages. Driven by the summer tourism season, the tourism industry in Gui'an's Chetian village is undergoing an unprecedented upgrade. In addition to showcasing unique natural landscapes and rural charm during the day, Chetian becomes exceptionally lively after nightfall.
To enhance the nighttime experience for visitors, Chetian and the Luyisen Camping Base have introduced new attractions, such as fireworks displays. Additionally, many rural homestays in the village have extended their operating hours to provide nighttime dining services, offering a wide range of options, including rural flavors and self-service barbecues.
