Guiyang sees growth in railway passenger arrivals for summer vacation

According to the railway departments in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, there has been an increase in passenger arrivals by train in Guiyang since the end of June.

Statistics show that from July 1 to 10, a total of 1.27 million passengers arrived at Guiyangbei Railway Station, Guiyangdong Railway Station, and Guiyang Railway Station. Both the total number of arriving passengers and the number of daily arrivals have reached record highs for this period.

On July 11, at Guiyangbei Railway Station, a visitor from Changsha said that she has always enjoyed experiencing different cultures and was attracted to Guiyang's cool climate, delicious food, and rich ethnic customs. She couldn't wait to visit the city after reading recommendations for what to eat there.

With the arrival of sanfu – the hottest period of summer, the number of out-of-province tourists arriving in Guiyang is expected to continue increasing and last throughout the summer transportation season.
