Guiyang promotes culture and tourism in Shanghai

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a culture and tourism product promotion event in East China's Shanghai on May 30.

The event aimed to showcase the charm of Guiyang to tourists from the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, promote exchanges and cooperation between tourism enterprises in Guiyang and Shanghai, and expand the tourism market.

At the promotional event, Hu Lin, director of the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, said that she hopes to strengthen tourism promotion between the two cities, consolidate the achievements of culture and tourism, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

Blessed with beautiful mountains and pleasant weather, Guiyang has taken advantage of its natural geographical conditions to develop a diverse range of culture and tourism activities.

At the event, Yunyan, Guanshanhu and Huaxi districts introduced various culture and tourism activities, including popular roadside concerts, city walks, river trekking, and paddle boarding, and invited Shanghai's internet celebrities and bloggers to experience the city's summer vitality.

From 11 am to 9 pm on the same day, a flash market featuring Guiyang's intangible cultural heritage food and cultural products was held in Shanghai, allowing the people of Shanghai to experience the cultural charm of Guiyang up close through activities such as food tasting and games.
