Guiyang invites Changsha to cool down with summer delights

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a summer tourism promotion event in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province, on May 20.

The event aims to further deepen cooperation between the two cities, fully leverage the advantages of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area's rural tourism attractions, and promote Guiyang's summer vacation culture and tourism products.

In recent years, Guiyang and Gui'an have developed their vacation industry, revitalized idle farmhouses, built a batch of summer resorts, and created 10 rural tourism demonstration belts.

At the event, representatives from Guiyang and Gui'an invited people from Changsha to come for a summer vacation, enjoy the countryside charm, and try out delicious rural food.

Representatives from Changsha said that Guiyang and Changsha are geographically close, and have rich rural tourism and cultural attractions. With Guiyang's cool weather in summer, the prospects for cooperation between the two sides are vast.

The two sides hope to give full play to their respective industrial and market advantages and work together to promote comprehensive rural vitalization.

At the event, Guiyang and Gui'an also issued invitations. Visitors holding invitations can enjoy discounts at rural tourism sites in Guiyang and Gui'an.
