The 2023-24 intangible cultural heritage exhibition was held in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 1, with 44 people specializing in intangible cultural heritage from various districts and counties participating.
The event showcased many exquisite and visually appealing intangible cultural creative products such as embroidered wax-dyed clothing and accessories, silver jewelry, stone carvings, black pottery teapots, and tea.
It also featured a significant number of traditional medical intangible cultural heritage items, including bee sting therapy, Miao medicinal fermented ointment-making techniques, and acupuncture therapy, allowing participants to immerse themselves in the rich culture of traditional medicine.
Many delectable intangible cultural heritage dishes were also on offer, such as sour soup silk doll, crispy duck, tofu balls, spicy chicken, and colorful rice, providing attendees with a taste of Guiyang's unique culinary charm.
