To further promote the "Cool Guiyang" city brand and drive the development of related industrial chains, an exhibition was held on Jan 11 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, showcasing Guiyang's special products and companies.
At the exhibition, representatives of companies introduced their products and distributed vouchers. City-wide discounts for the 2024 Spring Festival were also announced at the event.
In recent years, Guiyang has made efforts to support the development of the "Cool Guiyang" industrial chain. In 2023, 122 enterprises with renowned trademarks, Chinese time-honored brands, or from large-scale cultural and tourism complexes, scenic areas at the 4A level or above, and shopping centers were invited to promote the city brand by initiating brand usage, organizing activities, and issuing discount coupons.
All 122 collaborating enterprises have used and promoted the "Cool Guiyang" city brand logo.
Guiyang also sent out more than 5,000 posters at the airport, high-speed railway stations, and major events to promote products with the city brand.
It also invited over 40 companies to participate in exhibition and sales events, and selected 15 enterprises to expand into markets outside the province by attending the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair and the Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo.
