Fujian promotes culture and tourism in Guiyang

The 2023 southwestern Fujian culture and tourism promotion conference was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 19.

For the first time, five cities from southwestern Fujian province came to Guiyang to promote culture and tourism. They were Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Quanzhou, Sanming, and Longyan.

Through various activities, such as music showcases, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, food tastings, and traditional dice games, the event allowed local tourism enterprises and citizens to experience the richness of southwestern Fujian culture.

Interactions between Fujian and Guiyang in various fields have become increasingly frequent, bringing the two provinces closer and fostering a stronger bond.

The promotion conference will facilitate the exchange of tourists, complementation of resources, and mutual promotion of markets. Through these efforts, both provinces aim to transform tourism resource advantages into economic advantages. This will not only promote prosperity in the cultural and tourism market, but also further the development of the tourism industry.
