An art exhibition themed on the Yimeng spirit – one of the revolutionary spirits formed by the people of Linyi through revolution – is underway at the Guiyang Art Museum in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from Sept 20 to Oct 7.

A total of 115 paintings and calligraphy works showcasing the Yimeng spirit were displayed, offering a splendid cultural feast for the upcoming National Day celebrations.

This exhibition in Guiyang is the 7th stop of a nationwide tour. Showcasing high-quality red-themed art during the National Day celebrations is expected to evoke a sense of patriotism, and contribute to Guiyang's campaign of "Strengthening the Provincial Capital".

In recent years, Guiyang has made strong efforts to enhance its urban IP brand of "Cool Guiyang". This high-quality art exhibition will contribute to the in-depth exploration of Guiyang's red culture, Yangming culture, ethnic culture, and more. It will encourage local artists to tell the story of Guiyang through their art and create more high-quality works.
