The award ceremony of the 2023 China Special Tourism Product Competition was held in Tianjin on Sept 1. A total of 90 sets of products from Southwest China's Guizhou province participated in the competition, winning four gold, 12 silver, and six bronze medals.
Among them, perfume, a fabric handicraft and roasted tofu from Guiyang received one gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.
The perfume was inspired by Guizhou's unique spices and has four fragrances: folded ear root, cardamom, mountain apple, and Chinese sumac. It won the gold medal.
The fabric handicraft uses Guizhou's hand-woven fabric and traditional techniques such as Miao embroidery. It won the silver medal.
Roasted tofu won the bronze medal. It is made from soybeans and shaped with acid water.
The competition attracted more than 1,893 sets of over 20,000 products from across the country. The preliminary, semifinal, and final rounds were completed within two days.
