Guiyang holds 2022-2023 cultural talent achievement exhibition

The Guiyang cultural talent achievement exhibition was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 26-27.

The exhibition aims to promote Guiyang's intangible cultural heritage and provide people with hands-on experience in cultural creativity.

At the exhibition, cultural creative companies and 44 cultural talents from across Guiyang showcased handmade cultural products such as traditional clothing, stone carvings, wood carvings, batik fabrics, and silver ornaments.

Visitors can learn about traditional culture and folk crafts and appreciate the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage through interactive activities, experiential sessions, and product displays.

The Huaxi national-level intangible cultural heritage Miao embroidery exhibition was held the same day, showcasing the unique charm of Huaxi Miao embroidery through displays and performances.

Its purpose was to preserve, protect, and promote Huaxi Miao embroidery culture, contribute to rural vitalization, and showcase the skills of Huaxi Miao embroidery artisans.
