Guiyang welcomes Guangzhou visitors to spend summer vacation

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a summer tourism promotion event in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province, on Aug 4.

The event aimed to showcase the beauty of Guiyang and invite the citizens of Guangzhou to embark on a delightful journey.

Guiyang has a forest coverage rate of 55 percent, 1,025 parks, over 10,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter, and an average temperature of 23 C in summer.

During summer, Guiyang rolls out a series of benefit policies. Primary and secondary school students, university students, and people aged 60 and above enjoy free admission to national A-level scenic spots. In contrast, other people can receive a 50 percent discount on ticket prices. Additionally, there are half-price discounts on expressway tolls.

At the event, Guiyang's Qingzhen city and Kaiyang county introduced their summer tourism resources to Guangzhou's cultural and tourism enterprises.

Tourism enterprises from both cities signed cooperation agreements on visitor exchanges at the event. Guiyang representatives from Guangzhou held discussions with over 50 critical cultural and tourism company representatives, aiming to build a platform for cooperation and exchange.

Guangzhou's entrepreneurs hope that both sides can seize opportunities, deepen communication, innovate cooperation models, enhance resource integration and project collaboration, and promote win-win outcomes.
