Media Management Office

It is responsible for drafting the plans, policies and industry standards for the development of radio and television, and supervising the implementation after approval; guiding and coordinating major radio and television publicity activities, major emergency reports and emergency broadcasts; guiding and monitoring the creation and production of radio and television programs; guiding and supervising the creation, production and broadcast of television programs such as TV theory documents, TV documentaries, and TV cartoons; undertaking the import, recording and management of radio and television programs; supervising and managing radio and television broadcast institutions, program production organizations, program transmission agencies, pay cable TV channels, and mobile digital TV services; drafting the policy for the evaluation of radio and television programs and organizing implementation after approval; undertaking cultural and tourism news propaganda; releasing publicity films, managing news propaganda, setting tones for reporting and news releases; coordinating media liaison and reporting of important news; undertaking media publicity, advertising and releases for the development of culture and tourism; designing and producing cultural and tourism publicity materials; and guiding the businesses of new media platforms such as Weibo and WeChat.
