Guiyang launches app to regulate tour guides

A smartphone app established by Guiyang's bureau of culture and tourism was recently launched online.

It will help improve the service quality of tour guides, enhance tour guide management, boycott illegal tour services and tour guides, as well as evaluate and praise excellent tour guides.

Guiyang currently has 9,971 registered tour guides.

The city's tour guide service center will use the app to realize the management of tour guides. The center will choose 100 to 200 people per year as representatives of Guiyang's tour guides through training, evaluation and regulation.
