As the Guizhou medical team sent to Hubei province to assist their fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic returned to Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province from March 17, tourism related companies in the city have been fully preparing for the 14-day quarantine of the medical workers.
Guizhou Good Scenery Tour Bus Co, a company in charge of transporting medical workers to designated hotels for their quarantine, checked and cleaned 20 buses, as well as trained drivers for security, service, and protection.
The six designated hotels have prepared daily necessities, movies, books, butlers, 24 hour service hot lines, as well as traditional Guizhou meals, snacks and fruits for the medical workers. In addition, the returning medical workers can enjoy no-touch service by sending requests in WeChat groups.
The hotels were designated for quarantine due to their convenient traffic and their location away from residential areas. The Guiyang tourism industry association considered these hotels as representatives of Guiyang's hotel industry, and will provide top notch assistance to the medical workers.
To express gratitude to the contributions made by the medical workers, the Guiyang tourism industry association launched a free two day tour for them, providing transportation, scenic spots visits, dinners, hot springs entry, accommodation, and souvenirs.
