Yuan Yunlong, director of the culture and tourism bureau in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, led a delegation to South China's Guangdong province from Dec 11 to 13, in a bid to strengthen their cooperation in medium and high-end accommodation and hot spring projects.
The visit, which was in response to provincial requirements for attracting hot spring industry investment, mainly covered companies in the Guangdong Huayuan Group, a cross-industry company with a wide business scope, such as exhibitions, architecture and sports.
During the trip, the delegation had exchanges with Lin Hengtong, the general manager of the Guangdong Modern Convention and Exhibition Management Co, on preferential policies, project planning and land allocation for a holiday town in Guizhou's Xiangzhigou scenic spot.
Regal Palace Hot Spring Hotel in Guangzhou's Zengcheng district is popular with visitors. Equipped with 52 hot spring rooms in different styles, the hotel also has a banquet room able to handle more than 1,000 people and 11 multifunction conference rooms.

With the aim of enhancing cooperation and investment in Guiyang's hot spring projects, the delegation explained some preferential policies for investment attraction and some health maintenance hot spring projects for the Regal Palace, such as the Xinluo hot spring and Taoyuan hot spring health-keeping holiday resort in Xifeng county in Guiyang.
The air hot spring hotel in Conghua district, Guangzhou, has integrated hotel service, hot spring health maintenance and traditional Chinese treatment, forming a holiday-spending system, which impressed the delegation which sought cooperation with the project.
To promote the settlement of relevant enterprises in Guiyang, the city's culture and tourism bureau had formulated a white paper on investment guidance in its hot spring tourism industry, which took effect during the Guangdong visit.
