China's independently developed CGC-series 300 MPa ultra-high-pressure compressor prototype has passed certification, achieving an overall technical level that meets international standards. This marks a significant step in localizing key equipment to produce EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) and LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene).
The project, led by Shengu Group, features a prototype with a maximum exhaust pressure of 350 MPa and a power output of 34,000 kilowatts, capable of supporting production facilities with an annual output of 635,000 metric tons.
Guizhou Mangewei Fluid Intelligent Technology Co, based in Guiyang's Economic Technology Development Zone (GETDZ), partnered in the design and manufacture of the ultra-high-pressure lubrication system and central distribution valve, both of which passed multiple high-pressure testing standards.
The advanced manufacturing technology for such equipment was previously controlled by only two overseas companies. Since August 2025, a multi-party task force has tackled technical challenges such as high-pressure sealing, lubrication, and air distribution, with core component performance now reaching the advanced level of international counterparts. This achievement contributes significantly to enhancing the independence and security of China's chemical industrial supply chain.
