Jike Data Co, a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangxi Academy of Sciences, was established in 2024 in the Big Data Security Industry Demonstration Zone of Guiyang, Guizhou province, where it was incubated by a collaborative lab integrating government, industry, academia, and research.
The company, which does not engage in computing power but focuses on the processing of high-quality AI datasets, recently partnered with UBTech Co (a smart robot company) to establish an embodied intelligent robot data collection center in Guiyang.
Using Guizhou's role as the national hub for the "east data, west computing" initiative, Jike Data collaborates with 10 universities, involving over 4,000 students, fostering graduates for leading internet enterprises. To date, the company has completed 188 projects, with a 2025 output value exceeding 30 million yuan ($4.1 million), while the 2026 project output value has already matched last year's levels.
The company has also grown into a key data provider for domestic large-scale AI models and has set up a dedicated trading section at the Guiyang Big Data Exchange, listing 17 data products that account for approximately one-seventh of the exchange’s total transaction volume.
