The testing center of China National Pharmaceutical Group Tongjitang (Guizhou) Co (Tongjitang) in Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone participated in seven competency verification programs for the first time on April 22. The tests were administered by Laboratory of the Government Chemist (LGC), an international organization.
Tongjitang received satisfactory results across all programs, becoming the first pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Guizhou province to pass the verification and signifying that its technologies and quality management have reached international standards. This testing covered critical areas such as content determination and microbiological analysis.
LGC is an internationally renowned proficiency testing organization accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service and China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment. As a global leader in proficiency testing, its evaluations are regarded as the gold standard in the international testing industry.
This achievement marks a breakthrough for Guizhou's pharmaceutical companies, and sets a benchmark for the high-quality development of the province’s pharmaceutical industry. The company will continue to upgrade testing technologies, optimize its quality management system, and strengthen pharmaceutical quality control.
