The Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone (GETDZ) has been focusing on the employment and entrepreneurial needs of university graduates, providing multi-channel employment guidance and support to promote high-quality employment.
GETDZ has introduced an innovative career guidance model and invited provincial experts to institutions such as Guizhou Aviation Vocational and Technical College (AVIC) in mid-April.
Several specialized guidance sessions were conducted, covering areas such as policy interpretation and career planning, to help students clarify their career paths.
To address the issue of insufficient job-hunting skills, the zone held an employment boot camp at AVIC in mid-April. The program aims to enhance students' competitiveness in the job market through activities such as training sessions, mock interviews, and job internships.
GEDTZ plans to host a specialized job fair for university graduates on April 27 at Guiyang Normal University to expand employment opportunities, bringing together over 30 enterprises from GETDZ. Additionally, regular online and offline recruitment activities, as well as cross-regional talent acquisition initiatives, will be organized.
The zone will promote attracting and retaining graduates in Guiyang. The plan includes gathering 6,500 job vacancies and drawing 1,700 graduates from outside the province to pursue employment and entrepreneurship.
