On March 18, five companies from the Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone (GETDZ) have made the Guizhou Capital Market Service Center’s first list of key equipment manufacturing enterprises to be nurtured.
These companies, all recognized as specialized and innovative enterprises, represent advanced equipment manufacturing and the industrial internet. Among them, four are provincial-level specialized small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), while one has earned the designation of a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise, making them critical in the equipment manufacturing industrial chain.
The Guizhou Capital Market's “Four Databases” platform and the provincial reserve pool of potential listed companies were used in the selection process to identify enterprises across Guizhou's equipment manufacturing sector that meet scale requirements, demonstrate advanced technical capabilities, and show strong growth potential.
This initiative seeks to create a collaborative platform that strengthens ties between enterprises and capital markets, fosters effective integration of industry and finance, and supports the growth of Guizhou's equipment manufacturing sector.
GETDZ, a key hub for equipment manufacturing in Guizhou, has developed an advanced equipment manufacturing industrial cluster valued at over 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), contributing to more than one-third of Guiyang’s total industrial output. Its aerospace foundational components and critical parts cluster have also been recognized as a specialized industrial cluster for SMEs at the provincial level.
