The Zhao Lei Master Craftsman Studio in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) has been selected as a national-level master craftsman studio.
Zhao Lei, head of the studio, works at Guizhou Aerospace Fenghua Precision Equipment Co, has extensive experience welding various materials, and has served as a technical advisor and judge in national-level skill competitions multiple times. Over the years, he has been honored with titles such as National Technical Expert, Guizhou Province Technical Expert, and National Youth Expert.
Since its establishment, the studio has trained over 300 students and cultivated technical experts through skill competitions and activities, with its three-tier talent development system of "master craftsman – senior technician – technician" creating a balanced structure of skills across generations. The studio actively participates in shaping industrial standards to advance technology and product quality, enhancing the competitiveness of its products in the market.
GETDZ has also promoted the spirit of craftsmanship, establishing 17 provincial-level and above skill master studios to date, including 10 national-level master craftsman studios.
