This marked the official entry of Guiyang-made new energy buses into the Laotian market, opening a new chapter in the international development of the new energy automobile industry in Guiyang and Guizhou province.
The 55 new energy buses exported to Laos are manufactured by Guizhou's leading new energy bus manufacturer, Chery & Wanda Guizhou Bus Co.
These new energy buses will be used in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, for the city's first intelligent and modern rapid transit system. This will support the country's green and intelligent development of public transportation.
The export of these buses represents the bulk of Guizhou's new energy vehicles to a Belt and Road Initiative partner country, showcasing Guizhou's technological strength and product advantages in this sector.
An official from Chery & Wanda Guizhou Bus Co stated that the company has been actively expanding into overseas markets in recent years. This export is an important step in the company's strategy for internationalizing its bus business.
