The Guizhou Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the first 2024 batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Guizhou province, with 11 companies from the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ) making the list.
The 11 enterprises are involved in industries such as advanced equipment manufacturing, big data, and new energy vehicles.
Specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SMEs, with their technological prowess and strong market prospects, are more likely to receive financial support from various investment channels as well as support in terms of talent, intellectual property rights, management, and services.
With among the highest concentrations of industrial enterprises in the province, GETDZ has in recent years implemented two "double promotion" projects: the integration of high-tech enterprises with industrial enterprises above a designated size, and high-tech enterprises with specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises.
It has established a complete gradient cultivation system for technology-based enterprises throughout their lifecycle, promoting the simultaneous cultivation and mutual enhancement of high-tech enterprises and specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises.
Through years of effort, GETDZ has nurtured a total of 118 high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises, including eight national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative little giant enterprises.
