Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently held a conference and signing ceremony in celebration of its 30th anniversary. The event showcased various high-valued investment projects.

Established in 1993, GETDZ became the first national-level economic and technological development zone in Guizhou in 2000.
Over the past 30 years, GETDZ has seen considerable advancements in its economic and social growth.
The total industrial output value has grown nearly 60 times, from 1.02 billion yuan ($141.85 million) in 1993 to 60.5 billion yuan in 2022. GETDZ has become the pillar of the city's industrial economy.
Ten industrial projects were signed during the conference with a total investment of 2.01 billion yuan. These projects align with the industrial positioning of the zone, aiming to strengthen and extend the supply chains in the dominant industries.
