Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone (GETDZ), a national-level development zone in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has stepped up efforts to attract and employ talented people to promote the city's high-quality development.
In recent years, GETDZ has firmly established the concept of "talent is the first resource, innovation is the first driving force", and has implemented the "strengthening of talent" work deployments, promoting the strategy of "talent-based development".
It has vigorously implemented the "four major projects" of talent attraction, cultivation, utilization and retention, promoted the employment and entrepreneurship of talented college graduates, and committed itself to building a new hub of talent development to help the city's economic and social prospects.
The development zone has also been promoting efforts to attract talent by creating the "Action Plan for College Graduates Employment and Entrepreneurship of GETDZ and the "Action Plan for the 2023 'Strengthening Talent' Series Activities of GETDZ". It has taken multiple measures to attract, cultivate, utilize, and retain talent, promoted the integration of the development zone and universities, and provided strong intellectual support for the "Strengthening Provincial Capital" action.
It has successfully attracted skilled and urgently needed talented human resources to key industries in the zone, including 215 high-level talents and 1,029 in the manufacturing sector.
It has also focused on cultivating skilled technicians and craftsmen, and given full play to the trailblazing role played by skilled pioneers in talent cultivation and technological research.
